latest blurrrr

Hi All, it's been sometime since i've put some blurr on this bit. Just been mega busy racing etc. Latest thing is, we've just today signed up Darren Brice on a Sherco Trials bike, should be good !! jamie Law is having top 10 finishes in Maxxis and Red Bull Pro, brilliant !!. Jake Gowan has switched from 4 stroke to 2 stroke and is really getting back on the pace having podiums now rather than being a little down the pack. Hannah McLeod, the dark horse, having a mixed year, say no more.Murray Thomson has crocked his shoulder and is out for the season now, Oliver Hart is doing Mega having podiums in nearly all the British Sprints and Enduro's. Craig Reynolds is battling away doing mighty fine. Karl Greenall is having a mini break to get his pig farming going !! Craig Venske on Supermoto is still top of the British Champs in 2 classes, Ben Stafford is top of the pile in British 250 and is scaring the Elite class on his 250 sxf. And well me, just struggling to get everything in and not doing as well as I should. Now on a diet to loose the FAT. Bikes good, rider shite. Oh, and we are just about to expand the workshop and gain some more units, so if you fancy a really nice unit in our yard give me a call.

Cracking Trail Ride

Well, we had another cracking day out trailing. 7 went and 7 came back, no injuries, 2 punctures, but an awsome day. All legal trails were used and proved that trail riding is still there if you know where to go. Next one is going to be planned for April, probalbly the 15th. Supermoto ride out will be in May.

Next Trail Ride

The next trail ride out has now been planned for the 17th December. We would like to take a max of 6 riders of a reasonable level of riding. We`ll set off from the shop at 9.15 prompt so we can get some good miles under our belts.

Murray Thomson Wins

Congratulations to Murray Thomson in winning the `British Enduro Championship` in the Expert Veteran Class. Fantastic result, well done from all at the shop.

New Staff

We have just added another member of staff. SHE comes from way up North and goes by the name of Hannah McLeod. A wee 17yr old lassie, she has joined ourselves as a mechanic and shop counter staff. Do`nt be put off by that quiet sweet look, this lass knows her stuff, she rides a 250sxf at top British Ladies Level. So if a little quiet lass picks up the phone you know who she is .

LOADS OF NEWS

Now then, it`s been a while. Loads of stuff to report, I`ll try and keep it brief :- we`ve are pleased to announce the mighty giant from Scotland -Euan McConnell will be riding for D3 next year, and we are all chuffed to bits down here, roll on next year. For all our Scott`s lads & lasses we`re coming up North to do Supermoto schools and Enduro schools, look at the front page for details etc. We will have the new `SHERCO` on display in the shop on 27th and 28th November, come on in, have a brew and a look !! Also, `Scorpa` has gone orange, keep your eyes open. Yes, we are dealers for both Sherco and Scorpa !!!

Lakes Two Day

Holy smoke it`s here !! and i`m as stiff as a board, got dodgy knees and a knackered back. But i`ll be there, looking pritty as ever (like a big tart) Come to Broughton in Furness on SAt or Sun 17th & 18th, set off 9.00am. See the boys and daff old buggers like me riding. Ashley Bell will lead the D3 Racing Team (me and Ash)

Sherco Day

Having done the first Trials event at Holmescales, this proved to be superb venue. We intend to run a `Sherco Day` once we have the new bikes in November. This will be a book in and try and possibly buy day, with a show, and training with the top boys. We will make this more public when we know we have the bikes etc. `Watch this space`.

Trials School

What a success, the day was nippy but gloriously fine, we had a full day on with 10 riders of all abilities.We spent the morning on the fell and the afternoon in the woods, stream and bankings. Mike Brown and Johnathan Richardson were great for the young lads, they had 2 lads going up 6` rock steps !!, sorted a few of the dads out with riding tips and at the back end of the day showed what they could do when they got warmed up. Even taking on a TANK !! Thanks to Holescales and all who helped out and the riders for coming.
